Hidden Tuscany

Tuscany is a bounty of sensory experiences–so many that it seems impossible to capture them all in a lifetime. Our new Tuscany paddling trip takes travelers into the iconic heart of the unforgettable landscape of the World Heritage site at Val d’Orca, as well as other parts of this storied region not seen by most visitors.

Lago di Bolsena

Porto Ercole, Monte Argentario

Kayaks provide a unique perspective to a journey that includes the wild coast of the Maremma, Napoleon’s exile island of Elba and a volcanic crater lake. This trip tours Tuscany in a way no one else does, traversing crystal-clear turquoise water, visiting splendid villages, ancient walled towns, all while kayaking through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
Porto Ercole, Monte Argentario

Splendors of Tuscany

Tuscany is truly a feast for the senses and we do it in the style that we’ve brought to all of our Italian trips, one that combines memorable kayaking routes with an insider’s view of culture, cuisine and “La Dolce Vita”. As always, we’ve handpicked accommodations, dining experiences and wine tastings that hit just the right note. Join us on the latest chapter in our love affair with the natural and cultural splendors of Italy.

After a swim and a beach picnic, we return to Porto Sant'Ercole and then go for celebratory gelato. Our hotel is located in the village of Orbetello which dates to the Etruscan era.
