SEA KAYAKING NORWAY’S FJORDS

THE #1 BEST-RATED DESTINATION

A National Geographic commissioned a panel of 419 experts in sustainable tourism and destination stewardship selected Norway’s Western Fjords as the world’s #1 Best-Rated Destination.

—National Geographic Traveler Nov/Dec 2006

Our Fjords of The Sunnmøre alps trip covers 75 to 100 kilometers of the most dazzlingly beautiful fjords in Norway. The journey begins at the charming art nouveau styled town of Ålesund at the entrance of Storfjord. We paddle the waters of Norddalsfjord, Tafjord, Sunnylvsfjord and finish the majestic waterway of Geirangerfjord.  A UNESCO World Heritage Site,  Geirangerfjord is the most photographed fjord in Norway.

This adventure is an expedition-style camping trip through the heart of Norway’s western fjords; an area of postcard-perfect landscapes, with snow-capped mountains, high granite walls, mountain farms, wildflowers and charming villages. Come with us while we enjoy the long sunlit Scandinavian summer days and discover the Norway’s unique blend of scenery, culture and adventure.

“To float in Geirangerfjord is an astonishing, complete natural experience—steep, lush and rocky canyon walls, endless waterfalls.”
