I want to write you a note thanking your company for a wonderful experience kayaking in the Queen Charlottes this summer. From what I have been able to gather it sounds like our week was one of the best weatherwise (Aug.6-13), blue sky almost every day and no rain. We chose your company not because we had heard it was the best, but because it was the only one we were able to get any information on. However, now having been there and meeting people who kayaked with your competitors (5 groups that we are aware of) we consider ourselves very lucky as some of them had pretty bad experiences. The logistics of the trip were excellent (thanks for the comprehensive list), all the people associated with you were top caliber, your guides were exceptional, the equipment top notch, and the food was terrific.

The trip was really great dolphins, rays and lotso sunshine! You are lucky to have leaders like Sergio and Chelsea. Both were professional, fun-loving and very safety conscious. This was our first sea kayak trip but it won’t be our last!

We have recently returned from Loreto and the Sea of Cortez trip. We so much enjoyed our trip that we wanted to express our great thanks and appreciation to your organization and especially your staff. Our guides were knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. Their vast library of books on the flora and fauna was a great addition to the whole experience.
As was true of Eileen’s last trip with Tofino Expeditions, the food was excellent. The guides worked hard in preparing tasty and filling meals. It was hard to believe that so much variety was possible from the food we carried in our kayaks, especially considering the very warm weather! Congratulations on a great staff and a couple of very satisfied customers.

I wanted to send a brief email to let you know what a fantastic time Susan Sapin and I had on the November 23rd Baja departure. Everything was perfect! Neither of us had been on a trip like this before but I've been receiving the brochures for years and have always wanted to do this. I turned 50 this year so Susan and I left husbands and kids at home and headed out for our adventure.
I also wanted to let you know how fantastic Marcos and Sergio are as guides.......and cooks! You have 2 winners there for sure. They are personable, knowledgeable and very capable. They treated everyone equally and the entire group felt like family by the end of the week. I realize the mix of personalities may not always work out but both Marcos and Sergio have the ability to make these trips work. Hold on to them!
I've told many friends about this trip since my return so hopefully the word will spread into additional bookings for Tofino.

Hi. Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our recent trip to Baja . We went on the Baja trip that began on Dec. 26 from Loreto. I was traveling with two friends, Marion Anderson and Susan Belmont. We had a wonderful time largely because of our great guides: Marcos, Jen and Sergio. They were professional, well prepared and took excellent care of everyone. They worked really hard so that everything seemed seamless. In addition, they were well informed about the area, pointed out all of the wildlife that we with less-trained eyes would have missed, and were lots of fun to kayak with. Please pass on our appreciation to them. We would highly recommend both the trip and our specific guides to anyone interested in making a trip to Baja.

It’s Elizabeth, the rookie kayaker from New York City, the one who was full of curious questions just six short weeks ago.
Let me tell you, I did indeed have the time of my life. It was fantastic--I expected the scenery and the physical activity to be extraordinary, but I failed to suspect that the company would be so great.
Please tell Grant and Janice that the guides were A+ tops #1. I felt that they were both totally competent, which made me relax and trust them immediately. They were also both so friendly, and fun. Their cooking was amazing, as was their knowledge of the fish, the birds and the stars in the sky.
The week was amazing. .......It was wonderful to be in a place of no electricity, no phones, no clocks and no money. Hurray!

We enjoyed your BC coast vacation very much. The guides were wonderful. Our 13-year-old son shared a kayak with Gene, who spent a lot of time giving him the history of the area, and pointing out wildlife. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect week.
