BAJA ADVANCED KAYAKER TRIPS
These trips are geared for the experienced sea kayaker who wants a no-fuss paddling trip in Baja. Operated entirely in sporty single kayaks these trips combine the smooth logistics and great food of our other tours with the independence and goals of a private trip. Led by seasoned guides who are also avid paddlers this route will show you some of the hidden gems of Islas Carmen and Danzante as well as the Sierra Giganta Coast. While somewhat more physically challenging this is still a vacation with the familiar Baja rhythm of early starts, morning paddles, afternoon siestas, snorkeling and hiking. Arrive with your sun hat, water shoes and swim suit ready to have a great time and we’ll look after all the details.

Day 1 Arrive in Loreto, explore the town and meet for an evening orientation at the beachfront hotel and a discussion of trip details.
Day 2 Transfer by van to the put-in at Rancho Ligui. After a quick review of self and assisted rescue techniques we cross to southern Isla Carmen and a sandy beach camp on the channel between Islas Carmen and Danzante keeping watch for tell-tale plumes of whales spouting offshore.
Day 3 - 6 We kayak a primo route through the islands of the Parque Nacional Bahia Loreto. Getting off the beaten track we paddle early and spend afternoons swimming, snorkeling and exploring the beaches and arroyo canyons.
Day 7 After a final swim, we paddle to the graceful arc of white sand that is Ensenada Blanca, where we are met by vans for transfer back to the hotel Loreto and cold beer and hot showers. There is time to explore town before a no-host celebration dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 8 Fly home
